Sherri Presley Weaver
Plantersville- Sherri Lou Weaver, age 73, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, December 15, 2025. She was born on May 1, 1952, to Charles Timons Presley and Mary Lou McMullen Presley, who preceded her in shaping the strong, spirited woman so many came to love.
Sherri was deeply devoted to her family and found her greatest joy in time spent with those she loved. She cherished the outdoors, especially fishing and camping, and had a special place in her heart for her dogs, who were constant companions and a source of endless comfort and happiness. Above all, Sherri was a woman of strong faith, truly on fire for God, and she lived that faith boldly and unapologetically.
Known for her spitfire personality and quick wit, Sherri was hilarious, unforgettable, and full of life. She had a way of lighting up any room she entered and leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met. A wonderful woman with a fierce love for life, family, and faith, Sherri Lou Weaver will be remembered forever by those blessed to know her.
She is survived by her children, Lynn Sullivan Sims, Misty Randle (Chuck Jones), Joshua Parker (Stephanie Payton Parker), and Jessica Sorensen (Charlie); 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; siblings, Timmy Presley (Jamie), Patty Stanford (Donald), Francis Murphy (Morris), and Carolyn Hampton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; niece, Pamela Reed; and nephew, Brandon.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. until service time Sunday, December 21, 2025, at Pegues, Tupelo.
Services honoring the life of Mrs. Sherri will be 3:30 p.m. Sunday, December 21, 2025, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of Pegues with Bro. Danny Robbins officiating. A graveside service will follow at Andrews Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Payton Holland, Austin Holland, Brian Randle, Dylan Randle, Donald Stanford, and Ayden Adams.
