Sherril Grams "Sherri" Brown Horner

Sherril Grams Brown Horner born to John Willie Brown Sr. And Dorothy Hockett in Nashville, TN, August 6, 1962.

Sherril was strong minded and had great will power. She was a survivor of breast cancer 2009. She had a successful career in the nursing field and She also worked as a Phlebotomist for American Red Cross during her career. She worked as a caring and compassionate care giver. She attended Hume Fogg High School class of 1980. She also attended Aquinas School of Nursing and Volunteer State Community College

Sherril enjoyed spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed reading, writing. She will always cook for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She would make the best potato salad and would not share her recipe with anyone. She will spend her pass time shopping at the Goodwill and going to the Casino. She was the life of every party. She was well loved by her family and her siblings.

Preceeded in death by her loving parents John Willie Brown Sr. And Dorothy Hockett. Also, by her siblings Larry Davis, Sammy Hawkins, James Edward Davis, John Willie Brown Sr.

Survived by her children devoted daughter Sharelle (James) Braden Robertson, Care giver and devoted son Calvin Carter Jr., Grandchildren Diamond Braden, Daisha Taylor, Great grandchildren Lauren Wheeler and Dontez White Jr.

Siblings Thomas (Juanita) Davis, Patricia (Charlie) Gardner, Deborah Davi, Ruby Brown-Battle, Sister- in -law Brenda Davis; Devoted Aunt Marta Kincaid and Gladys Johnson (Colp, Illinois); Devoted niece Ronnica Davis ( Woozy) and La'Sheka Wynn; A host of nieces and nephews; Devoted longtime family friend Ms. Dorothy Johnson; Devoted longtime friends Frank Carter; Best Friend Angela Hodge. A host of relatives and friends.

Visitation Saturday, September 18, 2021, 9-10 at funeral home. Inerment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery North.
