Sherry Garrard Beaird left her earthly life on May 28, 2025 at the age of 71 years. Sherry was born on September 1, 1953 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Funeral services for Sherry Garrard Beaird will be held Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, LA 71118. A visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow the service at Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery, 8801 Mansfield Rd, Shreveport, LA 71108. Officiating will be Rev. McKee Williams, Rev. John Korlaske, and beloved cousin, Charles Odom, member of the LDS Church. Honoring Sherry as pallbearers will be Caleb Tucker, Trey Tucker, Wayne Hawthorne, Dean Hawthorne, David Johnson, and Damon Johnson.
Preceding her in death were her father and mother, John Burton Garrard and Marie Odom Garrard; her beloved son, Christopher Lee Beaird and husband, William Lee Beaird; and one sister, Glenda Garrard Hawthorne. She is survived by her sister, Shela Tucker; four nephews, Caleb Tucker, Trey Tucker, Wayne Hawthorne, and Dean Hawthorne; and a very very special niece and nephew, Anastasia and Ronnie; along with many other loving family members and close friends.
Sherry was a former "Charter" member of Ellerbe Road Methodist Church. She was loved by so many and will be missed more than words can express. One of her favorite bible verses: 1 Corinthians 13:13 "And these three remain: faith, hope, and love but the greatest of these is love."
