Graveside funeral services for Sherry Lynn Cagle Bell will be held 10:00 AM Friday at the Hebert Cemetery at Hebert with Bro Rick Baker officiating. The Bell Family will receive visitors on Thursday August 29, 2024 at the Riser & Son Funeral Home located at 7131 U S Highway 165, Columbia, LA from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Sherry Lynn Cagle was born on July 22, 1951 at Crowville, LA to the union of her parents,George Strickland Cagle, JR and Ollie Maude Wheelis. She passed from this life on August 27, 2024 at the St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe following an extended illness.
Sherry was a loving wife, mother, grand mother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Sherry loved working her flowers and enjoyed birds and squirrels in her flower garden . She worked with the Louisiana Wildlife Rehabilitation Organization helping injured animals recover. She had a special talent of rendering care to the animals and also worked as a Health Technician for many years in area hospitals and nursing facilities. She was an active member of Grace Baptist Church in Monroe until her health prevented her from attending.
Left to cherish her precious time on earth is her husband Michael Bell of Monroe; two daughters, Susan Rene Cagle of Monroe and Arabesque "Punkin" Cagle also of Monroe; two brothers, Malvin "Peanut" Cagle (Ashley) of Grayson and James Cagle (Phyllis) of West Monroe; her sister, Annette Calhoun (Roger) of Bernice; two grandchildren, Talya Pratt (Robert) and Aysha Cagle Johnson (Reggie) all of Monroe and her great-grand daughter, Anija Cagle of Monroe,
