Sherry D. Bjorndal, 78, passed away at her home in Big Timber, Montana on May 18th, 2025 with the love of her life by her side, David (Dave) Bjorndal. Sherry was born March 31, 1947 to Wesley and Eileen Dawson in Billings, Montana. At the age 13 the family moved to the Cremer Ranch in Melville where Sherry attended school through 8th grade. She graduated from Sweet Grass County High School in 1965. Bozeman was her next destination, where she attended Montana State University. After college, Sherry moved back to Big Timber where she worked at Frye's Cafe for a number of years before transitioning to a position at American Bank. On September 1st, 1988 Sherry married Dave Bjorndal. She warmly embraced and lovingly became a part of his family, including his three children, Curtis, Mitzi and Melissa. Together they were fixtures at the Big Timber fairgrounds, where Sherry took great pride in serving as a timer for most of the team ropings. Sherry was a member of the Big Timber Women's Club, American Legion Auxiliary, and the Big Timber Roping Club.
