Sharon Mosness Obituary
She graduated from Sweet Grass County High School. On April 23, 1961, she married Jim Pederson, Sr. and the couple lived on the ranch until Jim's passing. After moving to town, she worked at Cole Drug and then as a teller at Citizens Bank, where she remained until her retirement. Later in life, she married Carl Mosness and together they enjoyed square dancing and traveling.
Sheri lived her life with kindness, humor, and unwavering faith. She was a longtime member of the Big Timber Lutheran Church. She was known for her huge collection of angels and will be remembered for her infectious laughter. She enjoyed dancing, playing cards, and making music. A true people person, she always warmly welcomed others with a smile, and a hug.
Survivors include her children, Alice Roberts (Mike) of Park City, and Jim Pederson (Julie) of Four Corners, WY; granddaughter, Barb Benfit (Nate); grandson, JD Roberts; and great-grandchildren Harper Benfit, Kona Roberts and Kai Roberts; sister, Marilyn Blumhagen, her special nieces and nephews and the extended Mosness family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Jim Pederson, Sr. and Carl Mosness; and siblings, Butch Nevin, Bob Nevin, and Ellen Jenicek.
A celebration of her life will be held 10:00am Saturday April 18, 2026 at the Big Timber Lutheran Church . In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Hospitality House Senior Center in Big Timber.
