Sherry L. Coster

Sherry L. (Stryker) Coster, 63, of Columbia Cross Roads, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at her residence, following a courageous battle with cancer. Sherry Lee was born June 16, 1961, in Easton, PA, a daughter of Kerry and Martha (Tilstra) Styker. She attended Troy Area Schools and was a graduate of the class of 1979. After high school she went on to Nursing School in Elmira, NY, where she obtained her Licensed Practical Nursing certificate. Sherry was a member ofthe Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Horseheads, NY.
Sherry loved nature, flowers and using herbs for her health. In her earlier years she enjoyed square dancing and helping out on the family farm. Going out to eat, swimming at the lake and reading books, especially the bible and learning about god, were some of her favorite past times. Sherry was a very kindhearted individual who was very loving toward everyone she met. She would go over and beyond to help anyone in need. She was dearly loved by her family and friends.
Surviving Sherry are her parents; Kerry (Martha) Stryker of Columbia Cross Roads, husband; Fred
Coster of Elmira, sons; Patrick and Jospeh Coster both of Troy, grandson; Beau Coster, siblings; Sharon Guinane of Sayre, Jesse Stryker of Columbia Cross Roads and Jamie Stryker of Florida, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Sherry was predeceased by a niece, Jennica Stryker.
A celebration of Sherry's life will be announced at a later date. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Pepper Funeral Home and Cremation Facility, 578 Springbrook Drive in Canton is assisting the family with arrangements.
