Sherry A. Doss

Sherry A. Doss, 77, of Midland, TX, passed away on March 31, 2025, at Santa Rita Seniors Village.
She was born on July 5, 1947, in Plainview, Texas, to Johnny and Gladys P. (Jones) Jacobs. Sherry was known for her love of family, her bold personality, and her unique sense of style. She had a special fondness for jewelry-costume and otherwise-and rarely missed a chance to shop or tune into her favorite channel, JTV.
Sherry deeply loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her family, including extended family of the Bolin's and Doss' were her greatest joy, and she was affectionately known for her lively spirit and strong presence.
She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Barr (Simon) of Midland, TX; four granddaughters, Alex Byrd (Stephen), Sami Kiley (Brandon), McKenzie Barr, and Amber Rodriquez (Cory); and five great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Doss; her daughter, Melody Wallum; granddaughter, Kylie Branch; siblings, Richard Clay and Judy Collins; and her great-grandchild, Hooey Rodriquez.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Christ Church Anglican in Midland, 5501 N Midkiff Rd., officiated by Fr. Jerry Kramer.
Sherry will be remembered for her love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to her family.
