Sherry Lynn Gull Pattee, age 74, of Wales, Utah, passed away on Saturday, October 4th, 2025, at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah due to complications of surgery. Her daughter, Audrey was by her side.
Sherry was born on September 18, 1951 in Spanish Fork, Utah to David Elmore and Beth Beardall Gull. Sherry was raised and attended school in Spanish Fork., graduating with the Spanish Fork High School Class of 1969.
After graduation she moved to Monterey, California to live with her sister, Patty. This is where she met and married Robert Christopher Krentz on February 8, 1970. To this union were born 4 beautiful daughters. They were later divorced.
Later she met and married George Ernest Pattee on, July 17, 1991 in Reno, Nevada. Together they made their home in Portland, Oregon. While there Sherry worked for Kroger for several years. In 2010, they moved to Wales, Utah, a community she cherished and where she made many dear friends.
Sherry was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She loved attending temple with her good friend Betty Nowling and did so for many years. Sherry was an active member of the Daughter's of the Utah Pioneers, and was a member and former President of the Coalbed Camp. Sherry had a remarkable memory for people and events-she could recall details about nearly anyone or anything, no matter how long ago it happened.
Sherry had a lifelong passion for bowling and earned many awards over the years for her skill. Just before surgery, she expressed her wish to recover quickly so she could return to bowling. She also loved riding her motorcycle and cruising in her beloved Corvette, which always made her smile.
Sherry enjoyed traveling, exploring new places, and was looking forward to her next adventure.
Sherry is survived by her daughters, Annamarie Mary (Thane) Kump (West Jordan, Utah); Audrey Deanne Sharp (Marina, California); Sarah Elizabeth (Justin) Taylor (Cheyenne, Wyoming); and Victoria Lynn (Jacob) Gonzales (Woodland, California); 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; 4 brothers, Terry Elmore (Charlene) Gull (Randolph, Nebraska); David Alan (Debi) Gull (Wales, Utah); Samuel T (Jaymie) Gull (Parowan, Utah); Melvin (Laura) Gull (Wales, Utah); 5 sisters, Kathleen Dickinson (Virginia Beach, Virginia); Jill (Kim) Furniss (Blackfoot, Idaho); Jean (Wayne) Addison (Trenton, Kentucky); BethAnn (Jerry) McMillin (West Jordan, Utah); Julie Tina (Andy) Saunders (Palmer, Alaska); Brother in-law, Larry Pierce (Layton, Utah); as well as many nephew and nieces whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Pattee, her parents, David & Beth Gull; her sister, Patty Jane Pierce.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at 11 a.m. at the Sanpitch Ward, Wales Chapel located at 92 S. 200 W. in Wales, Utah. Friends and family may call beforehand at 10:00 a.m. at the Sanpitch Ward Relief Society Room, Wales Chapel. Internment will be in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
