Sherry Johnson Obituary
In addition to her beloved husband of forty-three years, Sherry is survived by her sons, Holden Johnson of Saint Louis, Missouri, Jake Johnson of Mount Vernon, Illinois; daughter, Molly Beth McVey and partner, Maddy of Saint Louis, Missouri; granddaughter, McKinley Jo Johnson and her mother, Kelsey Smith of Mount Vernon, Illinois; brothers, Terry Hammons, II of Mount Vernon, Illinois and Chad Hammons of Saint Louis, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Sherry was preceded in death by sister, Dianna "Dana" Beck.
Sherry was a member of Central Christian Church. She has worked as executive director for CASA Jefferson County, Cove Connection at Baptist Children's Home, and most recent as Hospice Coordinator for SSM Health at Home Hospice.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Johnson residence. Memorials may be made in Sherry 's honor to Kingdom Seed Ministries or SSM Health at Home Hospice.
