Sherry May Laird, age 61, of Knoxville, Iowa passed away on Monday, December 2nd, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. There will be a celebration of life for Josh & Sherry Laird at the Pershing Community Center 1763 C Ave, Pershing, IA. on Saturday, December 7th from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Sherry was born in Knoxville, Iowa to Ralph and Patricia Laird on January 14th, 1963. She attended Twin Cedars Highschool, and then went on to work in retail.
Sherry was a free spirit who loved rock hunting, gardening, and being in nature.
Sherry Laird is survived by her daughter, Shae (Adam) Laird; grandchildren, Jobe and Noah Fee; mother, Patricia Wright (of Knoxville); sisters: Janice (Tony), Teresa, Paula, Rhonda; brothers: Eddy, Russel, and Rupert; nieces and nephews, Megan (Rachel) Henderson and April DeRaad (who both had a special place in her heart.).
She is preceded in death by her father, Ralph Laird; her sister, Virginia Hubler; her son, Joshua Laird; and her niece, Stacy.
