Sherry Ann Long

Sherry Long, 63 of Etowah, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026.

Sherry was known for her free-spirited nature and lived her life to the fullest, embodying her philosophy of treating people right and maintaining a clean heart. She was a devoted mother to her two sons, Chris Alfredo and Anthony Alfredo, and her daughter, Sherokee Gore. Sherry’s legacy continues through her loving family, including eleven cherished grandchildren who will carry her memory forward.

Sherry was a Harley Davidson enthusiast who embraced life with passion, and a zest for adventure. Her infectious energy and genuine care for others made a lasting impact on her friends and family, forever changing their lives for the better.

Sherry is preceded in death by her parents, Iva Lee and Erskin Long, whose love and guidance shaped the remarkable woman she became.

Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 24, 2026, in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday prior to the service.

Family and friends will assemble at Cane Creek Cemetery on Wednesday, February 25th for the 1:00 p.m. committal service.
