Sherry Lee Mershon

Sherry Lee Mershon (neé: Elstun), 81 years of age, entered into rest on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, with her loving husband of 58 years by her side. Sherry was born in Covington, KY, to her late parents, Sherrell and Alberta Elstun. She is also preceded in death by her dearly loved daughter, Michelle Mershon. Sherry is survived by her husband, Tom Mershon; brothers, William and Richard Elstun; and many nieces and nephews. She was a devoted Baptist, in her early years at South Side Baptist Church, Kenton Baptist Church and most recently, Hebron Baptist. Sherry retired early from Cincinnati Bell (1990). She lived on South Padre Island in Texas for 13 years. She and her husband shared a love of travel that left many great memories. Sherry was an avid painter. She and her husband were devoted supporters for disadvantaged men and women through NKAR. They were also great supporters of The Point. Visitation will take place on Monday, June 17, 2024, at Hebron Baptist Church, 3435 Limaburg Road, Hebron, KY 41048, beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Covington, KY.
