Sherry (Putman) Morley, age 43, of Mansfield, PA, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, August 23, 2025. She was born on August 23, 1982, in Wellsboro, PA, a daughter of Thomas Charles Putman, Sr. and Nina (Powell) Putman. Sherry graduated from high school and took some college classes, and on May 13, 2005, she married LeRoy Morley. Sherry worked for Tioga Bradford Head Start as a bus monitor. She volunteered for the Tioga County Food Bank, enjoyed watching wrestling, Chicago PD, Chicago Fire, and ER. But most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Sherry loved her family.
Sherry is survived by her parents, Thomas and Nina Putman, Sr. of Wellsboro, PA; her husband, LeRoy Morley of Mansfield, PA; a son, Nathan Thomas Jack Morley of Stony Fork, PA; three daughters, Kristina (Wyatt Gleason) Morley of Lowman, NY, Shannon (Kenny Davenport) Morley of Ulysses, PA, and Emma (Anthony Bombard) Morley of Mansfield, PA; adopted son Christopher Renninger of Stony Fork, PA; five grandchildren, Aaliyah Davenport, Thalia Davenport, Layla Davenport, Lilyannah App, and Aiden Murray; a brother, Thomas Charles Putman, Jr. of Mechanicsburg, PA; and two sisters, Laurie Putman and Danielle Putman, both of Harrisburg, PA. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Rose Marie Morley.
Friends and family are invited to call from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, with Pastor Larry O'Dell officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses. Burial will take place in the West Branch Cemetery. www.buckheitfcandcrematory.com
