SHERRY JO PERCIFIELD

Franklin, IN. – Sherry Jo Percifield, 76, of Franklin, Indiana passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at her home.

Sherry was born in Franklin, Indiana on April 10, 1949 to the late Daniel E. Smith and Mary Dell (Hale) Limp.

Sherry graduated from Franklin High School. She retired from the Indiana Masonic Home as an Event Coordinator. She was a member of Grace Assembly of God. Sherry loved to read, gospel music, chatting with her friends, and spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Steven A. Percifield; son, John Brown; siblings, Samuel Tracy Hale, Cynthia Sue Lynae.

Sherry is survived by her children, Jennifer Robards (Billy); James Lear, Jeffery Lear, Jodi Hardin, Mary Lear, Steven P. Percifield; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Trudy Newcomer (Noah); Teresea Hellman (Rick); Christy Drake; Mark Hale (Shelly); cousin, Rhonda King (Roy).

Services will be 1 P.M. on Friday, August 29, 2025 at Jessen Funeral Home in Whiteland, Indiana with Pastor Wanda Sharp officiating. Burial will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery in Nashville, Indiana.

Visitation will be from 11 A.M. until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
