Sherry Lynn Propst

Sherry Lynn Davis Propst, age 57, of Sikeston, died Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born July 16, 1965, at Sikeston, MO, to Carolyn Janette Turner Davis and the late William A. "Bill" Davis, she was a 1983 graduate of Sikeston High School and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. For many years she worked as a medical office assistant for Dr. Waltrip, Dr. Mahboubi and Dr. Weathers. Sherry loved her family more than anything and will be missed.
On September 1, 1989, she married Mike Propst, who survives of the home.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her children, Trenton Cain of Jackson, MO; Paige (Ryan) Maddox of Cypress, TX and Tyler Propst of Sikeston; her grandchildren, Keira Cain, Holdyn Maddox, Braedyn Maddox and Maci Maddox; her brother, Michael (Shannon) Davis and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Alan Wayne Holt.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston. Rev. John Tarter will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Unity Cemetery at Benton under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston.
