Sherry L. Teal, 63, of Ewing, Missouri, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2025, in her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on January 22, 1962, in Campbell, Missouri, to Avery Oliver and Fay (Claussen) Oliver. On June 28, 1980, Sherry married Fred Teal.
Sherry was of the Christian faith. She enjoyed doing craft projects, playing board games, spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. In September 2012 she retired from Gates Rubber Company.
Sherry is survived by her husband, Fred Teal; two daughters, Juli (William) Smith of Poplar Bluff, and Kristi (Nicholas) Gillette, of Lewistown, Missouri; one sister, Ella Rose Oliver of Nashville, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Leila Ann Gillette, and Jedidiah Gillette; very close nephew Zachary Nelson; several nephews and one niece. Sherry is preceded in death by her parents, Avery and Fay Oliver. A host of family and friends survive.
Visitation will be at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 19, 2025, at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 19, 2025, at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ashley Pritchett officiating. Interment will follow funeral service at Three Springs Cemetery in Williamsville, Missouri. Fitch- Hillis Funeral Home is assisting with all funeral arrangements.
