Sheryl Mowery Obituary
Sheryl M. (nee Javurek) Mowery, age 69, passed away on December 4, 2025. She was born on March 2, 1956, in Cleveland, Ohio, to her loving parents, the late Larry and Jeanne (nee Brown) Javurek. Beloved wife of the late Steven Mowery. Devoted mother of Steven (Stacy), Mary-Margaret, and Christopher Mowery. Cherished grandmother of Dakota Brackins. Dear sister of Francine (Steve) Durbin, Mary-Margaret Javurek, Laura (Danny) Gill, and Denise (Phil) Kozell. Treasured aunt of Sara Durbin, Stephanie Durbin, Bryce Kozell, Braeden Kozell, and Mackenzie Kozell.
Sheryl loved her work as a hairdresser and found joy in being near both the ocean and the lake. She enjoyed crafting, and she held her family and her faith close to her heart. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Family and friends are welcome on Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Slone & Co. Life Celebration Center 3556 W. 130th St. Cleveland, OH 44111. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 11 a.m., at St. Vincent de Paul Church 13400 Lorain Ave, Cleveland, OH 44111 (please meet at church). Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
