Sheryl Schuler Obituary

Sheryl Ann Schuler, 68, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025, in Kalispell, Montana. She was born on December 19, 1956, in Atlanta, to the late Claude and Frances Roberts.
Sheryl spent most of her life in Demorest, where she became well known and deeply respected as a talented seamstress. Her sharp eye for beauty and her knack for making something out of nothing turned many torn hems into favorite outfits again and her caring nature made every customer feel like family.
She kept a warm and welcoming home, and was one of the few of a generation left dedicated to the old ways - often having her home filled with the smell of something delicious cooking. Feeding others was one of her greatest joys, and anyone lucky enough to sit at her table knew they were loved and likely to leave with a full stomach and a few laughs.
She had a deep love for animals of all kinds, often spoiling her pets just a little too much. Her home was always filled with laughter, kindness, and the kind of humor that could make even a tough day feel lighter.
Sheryl is survived by her loving family: her daughter and son in-law, Angie Roberts and David Chappell, of Whitefish, Montana; her son and daughter in-law, Josh and Ashley Schuler, of Whitefish, Montana; and her brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Bridget Roberts, of Flowery Branch, Georgia; along with many friends, family, and furry companions who will miss her deeply.
A celebration of Sheryl's life will be announced at a later date. In the meantime, her family invites those who knew her to remember her laughter, her warmth, and her unshakable love for both people and pets. In lieu of flowers, we kindly ask that you make a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or your local humane society.

I did not have the benefit of knowing Sheryl for a long time. The time I did get to know her was great. She was always so inviting and friendly and a GREAT cook. I know she is somewhere looking down on us all with a smile.

Sheryl was my sister in law, my very good friend, she was just the best. We had a lot of crazy crazy times together feeding Malcolm Krystal burgers while driving around in the El Camino.
Helping pop hems in whatever project she was on, stirring the pot of whatever was cooking. Watching Stacie and Josh kill themselves the hundredth time from whatever thing they climbed on this time. A lot of laughs, some tears, great times. I miss those days back in Demorest, but I have amazing memories with my dear friend Sheryl. Love you girl!!
