Sheryl Lynn Highsmith Stephens, 62, of Nesbit, MS, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023. Friends are invited to a celebration of life with the family on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch.
Sheryl was born on August 16, 1960, in Nashville, TN. She obtained her Associates Degree at the University of Memphis. Sheryl was an office manager at Stephens Insurance Group for thirty-five years, and was a Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR). She was a Southern Baptist and attended Brookside Baptist Church.
Sheryl loved shopping and going to the salon to get her hair and nails done. She was married to the love of her life, Todd, for forty-two years. Todd introduced her to fishing and they traveled the world together to go on fishing trips. She even caught a seven and a half pound bass on one of her trips. Sheryl was a kind, loving, godly woman. She will be remembered by all who knew her and truly missed.
Left to cherish Sheryl's memory is her husband, Todd J. Stephens of Nesbit, MS; brother-in-law, Alec Stephens (Patty) Ashland, MS; niece, Ally Martin (Lance) of Hernando, MS; nephews, Scott Stephens of Memphis, TN, Blake Stephens (Josh) of Olive Branch, MS; great-niece, Faith Stephens of Foley, AL; and cousins, Russ and Leah Madry.
Sheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Helen Highsmith.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Sheryl Highsmith Stephens to the American Heart Association (www.heart.org).
