Shilo “Dullknife” McHargue, 52, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, entered eternal rest during the early hours of February 4, 2025, at The Journey Home. On a sunny, Thursday afternoon at 5:45 PM, Shilo was born in Bartlesville, OK, on January 11, 1973, to Tommy Ray McHargue and Lana Louise (Timmons) Branch.
Shilo grew up in Bartlesville and her family later moved to Pawhuska, where she graduated from Pawhuska High School. She worked in various positions as a CNA and a cook throughout her life.
Shilo was a very private person. However, in her spare time she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and taking care of her cat, Wesa, and being out in nature, especially Copan Lake, where she loved to collect Eagle feathers and shells. She was very artistic and enjoyed painting both on canvas, and the seashells that she collected. She had a great sense of humor and a very warm spirit. Shilo always kept a very tidy and comfortable home for her family to enjoy when they visit her.
Shilo was not much of a morning person, but she loved to watch the Copan Lake sunsets. She loved smoking her medicinal marijuana which led to her enhanced desire to eat hamburgers, and chocolate ice cream with caramel sauce. She loved to play the lottery and actually won $500 on pick three! When it comes to numerology, 111 and 1111 are always coming up, hence why we decided to have Shilo‘s service at 1:11, the day that she was born.
Shilo will truly be missed by those that loved her.
Shilo is preceded in death by her grandparents: George and Mary Ann McHargue, Marie Jordan, and George Timmons; and her uncles and aunt: Bill and Jackie Jeffers, Walt McHargue, Lonnie McHargue, Jerry McHargue, and Jessie Timmons.
Those left to cherish the memory of Shilo include her mother: Lana Branch of Bartlesville, OK; her father and step-mother: Tom McHargue and Candy Masters of Red Oak, OK; her sisters: Rebel McHargue of Stigler, OK and Renee McHargue of Concord, CA; her nieces: LeTasha McHargue of Spiro, OK and Destinee McHargue of Stigler, OK; her nephew: Reality McHargue of Redding, CA; her 12 great nieces and nephews that she loved dearly, along with other family members and friends.
Visitation is planned for Friday, February 7, 2025, from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM and Monday, February 10, 2025, from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM at Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Shilo will be on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at 1:11 PM. A Private interment will follow at the Wann Cemetery. Funeral services and arrangements are under the direction of Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Bartlesville.
