Mrs. Shirley Mae Baker, age: 79

 

Of: Waverly, TN passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Houston County Community Hospital in Erin, TN. She was born June 25, 1943, in Mt. Hope, IL. Mrs. Baker owned and operator a country store out on Bold Springs Road for 15 years and worked at Diary Queen in McEwen for 5 years. She was a member of the Waverly United Methodist Church and the Waverly Senior Citizens Center.

 

Mrs. Baker’s wishes were to be cremated.

 

Graveside Services for Mrs. Baker will be conducted at 11:00am Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Meadowlawn Cemetery in McEwen with William Brown officiating.

 

Interment of cremains will follow.
