In Loving Memory of Shirley Jean Baker

June 23, 1935 – November 13, 2025

On November 13, 2025, Shirley (Jean) left this world to be reunited in Heaven with the love of her life, her beloved Lloyd.

Throughout her life, Shirley was known by her middle name "Jean". She married her high school sweetheart. Before too long, their family started to grow. She excelled as a dilgent housewife and mother of three. Children and grandchildren were her heart. Recently, great grandchildren were added on. She loved to host holiday meals and was known for her large spread of food for the Thanksgiving meal. It really was a moment to be grateful! She loved the Lord and gladly went to church to be with fellow believers. At one time she co-led a children's group called the "Eager Beavers". Her adventurous nature proved invaluable during a mission's trip to Peru where she eagerly sampled unfamiliar foods and enthusiastically participated in ministry work. She also treasured many trips with her husband that took them around the US and several trips that went abroad.

She is preceded in death by her husband of seventy two years, Lloyd Baker, Sr., parents Donald & Thelma Hill and brother Donald Jr. She is survived by her three children, Lloyd Jr. (Teresa) Baker. Ginny Mitchell, Sandra (Tony) Falcone along with 7 grandchildren; Kim, Melissa, Jessica, Kyle, Nickolette, Jermie and Dominic and 6 great grandchildren; Dakota, Juliete, Jordyn, Evelyn, Charlotte and Carson and her friend Annette.

Relatives and Friends are invited to her Viewing, Monday, November 24 th, 10:00 AM – 10:45 AM followed by her Funeral Service 11:00 AM ALL IN CHURCH at First Baptist Church of Ogden, 2446 Mill Rd, Boothwyn, PA 19061. Interment Lawn Croft Cemetery.
