Shirley Ann Biddinger (Smith) 88, of Wisdom, MT passed away in Dillon, MT on February 20, 2024. Shirley was born in Chapin, IL on July 14, 1935 to Claude and Agnes Smith. Shortly after they relocated to Seattle, WA which became home throughout her childhood. She had two younger sisters Pat and Sue. Shirley married Robert M. Biddinger in 1956. After birthing two children; Marty (1957) and Rachel (1963) the family relocated themselves and their mink ranch to Stevensville, MT. Other than owning a mink ranch, Shirley had worked as an EMT, dog trainer and ran her own delivery service.
Shirley enjoyed the simple things life had to offer. Her family and a dog companion was the only company she needed. She enjoyed teaching her loved ones how to hunt, fish and the importance of what nature has to offer. She was self educated and had a passion for reading. She loved baking bread, knitting blankets, making lotions and soaps. Shirley will be missed most for her love and her wisdom.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Claude and Agnes Smith, husband Robert M. Biddinger, son Marty Biddinger, sister Sue Rigor and nephews Shawn Rigor and Birch McDonald. Survivors include her daughter and son in law Rachel and Don Walker;
Grandchildren, Robert and Megan Biddinger, Donnie and Jami Walker, and Kristi Biddinger; Great Grandchildren include Brayden, Wynter, Donald, Austin, Kasey and Kimber; and sister Pat McDonald and many other extended family members. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to go to the Wisdom Ambulance, PO Box 32 Wisdom, Mt. 59761 A celebration of Life will be held up Mussigbrod on June 8 th , 2024 for friends and family.
