CONNER, Shirley Savage, 84, of Richmond, went to be with the Lord on April 24, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Percy Conner Sr. She is survived by her children, Lloyd Percy Conner Jr., Karen Jeanne Conner, Deborah Mills (Vernon) and Michael Allen Conner (Kimberly); eight grandchildren, Charles Jason Allen, Roger Dale Conner, Katie Jeanne Allen, Mende Schoeneweis (Jim), Amanda Michael Conner, Kyle Vernon Mills, Amy Elizabeth Conner and Evan Savage Conner; and six great-grandchildren. She was a member of Grove Avenue Baptist Church. She was loved and will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends Tuesday (today), April 26, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Parham Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Road, Richmond. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 27, at Greenwood Memorial Gardens, 12609 Patterson Ave. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Association.
