Shirley A.

Age 76

Of White Bear Lake

Shirley Annette Donovan, age 76, passed away peacefully on February 3rd, surrounded by loved ones. Shirley grew up in Roseville, Minnesota, and graduated from Ramsey High School, where she met her husband. She later made her home in Birchwood. Shirley worked for many years at Quality Park Products in payroll, where she was known for her dedication, reliability, and strong work ethic. She loved her family deeply, especially her granddaughters, and cherished her friends and neighbors. Shirley was always easy with a smile and a laugh, made the very best cookies, and was known for keeping an immaculate home-often making sure her children's and grandchildren's houses were just as clean (whether they asked or not). After surviving sepsis, Shirley faced many health struggles with strength and determination, fighting with the same quiet resilience that defined her life. Her family finds comfort in knowing she is reunited with those who went before her. She will be remembered for her warmth, her devotion to family and community, and the love she shared so freely. Shirley's life was well lived, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Preceded in death by her husband, Gregory; daughter Carrie Ford; father George Lyons; mother Bernice Lundin. Survived by daughter Nikki (Ty McBee) Donovan; son-in-law Michael Ford; granddaughters Lily and Mila; sister Sharon Lyons; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1PM, Saturday, February 14, 2026 at HONSA FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2460 East County Road E, White Bear Lake, with a Visitation at 12PM.

I am so very sorry to hear of Shirley's passing. She was a wonderful Grandmother to Carrie's daughters who will miss her terribly. Plus, an ever-present helping hand, along with Nikki, for Mike. Shirley, may you rest in God's peace and please give your daughter a hug for me when you see her in heaven.
