Shirley was born September 30, 1936, at her home in Wilson, OK to the late Mr. Fred Duncan and Mrs. Lillian (Milson) Duncan. She departed this life Friday, June 27, 2025, in Ardmore.
Shirley attended school in Wheeler, where she excelled and later graduated from Rexroat. On December 27, 1954, she married the love of her life, Tommy Tudor, in Wilson, Oklahoma. Their union was one built on shared values and mutual support, and together they built a family and a lifetime of memories. For over 25 years, Shirley dedicated herself to her career at Walmart, where her cheerful disposition and hardworking nature made a lasting impression on her colleagues and customers alike. She took great pride in her work, finding joy in serving her community. Outside of her professional life, Shirley was known for her green thumb; she found immense happiness in caring for her houseplants and cultivating beautiful flower gardens that brightened her home. She also enjoyed shopping and had a particular fondness for gameshows and soap operas, often losing herself in their stories. One of her most cherished roles was that of a grandmother and great-grandmother. Shirley relished every moment spent taking care of her grandkids and great grandkids, filling their lives with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. She especially looked forward to her lunch dates for Chinese food with her sister, Sue, and loved hosting family gatherings that brought everyone together. Shirley was a remarkable woman whose spirit will continue to inspire and bring joy to those she loved.
