Shirley Ann Elloitt Rhoads

Shirley Ann (Howrey) Elliott Rhoads, 89, of Glenrock, Wyoming passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming from complications from surgery.
Shirley was born Friday, August 2, 1935 in Careyhurst, Wyoming the daughter of Cecil Theodore and Effie Maud (Puckett) Howrey the second of five children.
She was married to John George "Johnny" Rhoads for 38 years.
She is survived by her son, Mark Elliott of Plano, Texas; daughter, Leslee Elliott of Glenrock; sister, Marilyn Nida of Glenrock; three grandchildren, Shalin Ennis, Melody Armstrong, and Melissa Elliott; four great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Shirley was preceded in death by her father, Cecil, on August 16, 1971; mother, Effie, on October 17, 2022; husband, Johnny, on December 1, 2017; son, Steven Elliott; sister, Ina Sheetz; and brothers, Max Howrey and Phil Howrey.
At her request no services will be held. She will join her family at the Howrey Memorial Cemetery south of Glenrock.
The Gorman Funeral Homes-Converse Chapel of Douglas, Wyoming is in charge of the arrangements.
