Shirley Flinchbaugh

Shirley A. Flinchbaugh, 89, formerly of Jamestown, NY died Thursday March 13, 2025, in Corry Manor.
She was born May 14, 1935, in Sunbury, PA, a daughter of the late James and Rosabell Bastian Libby.
She was a 1952 graduate of Mifflinburg High School.
On May 30, 1958, she married Donald (Don) Flinchbaugh, sharing the next 60 years with him.
Prior to her retirement, she had been employed by Council Optometric Center as a frame stylist.
A wonderful cook, she was known for sharing what she made with friends and neighbors and was happiest when hosting family dinners and holidays. She also enjoyed playing cards and games with family. Her family was her world.
Surviving are two children: Todd (Donna) Flinchbaugh of Harrodsburg, KY and Julie (Michael) Anderson of Jamestown, NY; two grandchildren: Tara (Daniel) Barrett of Danville, KY and Troy (Caley) Flinchbaugh of Stockton, NY; four great-grandchildren: Jack, Amilya, Cecilia and Luna; three sisters: Kay (Bob) Zimmerman of Mifflinburg, PA, Bonnie Vidmar of Jamestown, PA, and Debra (Ron) Sholley of Millmont, PA and three brothers: Larry Libby of Selinsgrove, PA, Brian (Marsha) Libby of Mifflinburg, PA and Steve (Pat) Libby of Lewisburg, PA.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Don who died January 30, 2018; a son, Allen Fritz, and a brother-in-law, Jim Vidmar.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed.
Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or American Cancer Society.
