Shirley Leona Fox

Shirley Leona Fox, 84, of Searcy, Arkansas departed this life on September 16, 2025 at Unity Health in Searcy, Arkansas. She was born October 9, 1940 in Reseda, California to the late Jessie and Lillian Jones. Shirley worked at Atlanta Mart in Georgia. She raised dogs she liked painting, writing poetry, embroidery and crochet. Above all she loved being with her family. Shirley always helped the ones that she loved friends and family. She resided in Searcy, Arkansas with her sister for the last three years. She will be cherished and remembered always. She is survived by her son, Randy Fox, her grandchildren, Jessica Garcia and Latosha Hendrix, five great grandchildren, her sister, Lila Holden, and her nieces and nephews of the Burress, Mann, McCurley, and Shows families. She is also survived by countless friends and a host of extended family members. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pat Fox, her sons, Charles Garcia and Jessie Garcia, and her brother, Paul Jones. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Carter Cemetery in Russell, Arkansas. Visitation will be held prior to services from 9:30am until 10:30am at Powell Funeral Home of Bradford. Arrangements are entrusted to Powell Funeral Home of Bradford.
