Shirley Freeman Obituary
She loved to fish and sing. But her greatest love was for her family. She would spend as much time as she could with all of her close as well as extended family.
She is survived by one son, Marc Freeman of Covington; one daughter, Rhonda Shirlene Freeman of Covington; one brother, Leon Winters, Jr. of Tuscaloosa, AL; one half-sister, Connie Winters Capone of Prairieville, LA; three grandchildren, Meagan Freeman Barnes, Kayli Coffey and Jenna Williams and two great grandchildren, Jack Barnes and Sam Barnes. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Beatrice Winters; her husband, Howard Freeman and a sister, Tossie Sarah Winters Thibadeaux.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 21 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment services will be private.
