Shirley Freeman Obituary
Shirley Freeman 91 died Saturday March 7, 2026 at the Gill Odd Fellows Home in Ludlow, Vermont. She was born August 31, 1934 in Rutland, Vermont the daughter of Solan and Lottie (Whitney) Todriff.
She married Lawrence Freeman, He predeceased her in 2018.
Shirley worked as a Housekeeper in private homes in the area for many years.
She enjoyed arts and crafts with her daughters, scrap booking, quilting, sewing, knitting and drawing. She also enjoyed playing cards with her family.
She is survived by two sons; Ricky Freeman of Claremont, NH. and James Freeman of Brookfield, Vt., son-in-law Theodore Foster of Springfield, Vt, six grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, two daughters Betsy Foster and Marlene Freeman, and two grandchildren Danny Foster and Mandy Foster.
A graveside service will be held at a later date.
Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield, Vt. is assisting with arrangements.
