Shirley Goldhaber Obituary

Goldhaber - Shirley, 90, of Port Washington, New York, passed away on June 18, 2024, surrounded by her loving family in Providence, Rhode Island. She was the beloved wife of the late Stanley Goldhaber. They had been married for 64 years. Shirley was the devoted mother of Meryl and her husband, Daniel, and Robert and his wife, Ann. She was the cherished grandmother of David, Andrew, and Emily

Golding, and Alana and

Anthony Goldhaber. She was also the beloved aunt of numerous nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly. Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Isaac and Alice (Tillman) Kosto. She was one of five children, her late brother, Morton Kosto; and sisters, Norma Feinman, Lois Galinsky, and Estelle Feigelman. Shirley was kind and generous, saw only the best in people, and rarely had a mean thing to say about anyone. She had many close friends with whom she loved to spend time. Those wishing to honor Shirley with a memorial contribution are kindly encouraged to consider a donation to United Jewish Appeal. Private Services were held at Eternal Light Cemetery in Boynton Beach, Florida.
