Hartog, Shirley M. (Moss), age 85, of Brentwood, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2025, following a long battle with dementia.

Born in Noblestown, PA to the late Viola and Carroll Moss, Shirley was the youngest of seven siblings, all of whom have predeceased her. Devoted wife of 55 years to Ronald A. Hartog; beloved mother of Pam (Tom) Yeager and Keith (Vickie) Hartog. Proud and cherished Nee Nee of Abigail Neiser (Ben), Rebecca Neiser (Mitch), Adam Gronau (Jen) and Douglas Hartog (Tori). Shirley is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Shirley enjoyed reading, line dancing, shopping and going to lunch with friends. She was a kind and gentle soul, with a heart of gold, who brought joy to everyone she met. She will be deeply missed.

Friends will be received on Friday, April 18, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Cieslak & Tatko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2935 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15227.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will be held at a later date at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.

In lieu of flowers, Shirley's family requests donations be made in her name to VNA Hospice 154 Hindman Road; Butler, PA 16001.
