Shirley Higginbotham

Shirley Higginbotham, age 87, of Lebanon TN, passed away on March 23, 2026. The Funeral Service is 1 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2026 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. Interment in Wilson County Memorial, with family and friends serving as Pallbearers, will follow the service. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11 a.m. until the service at 1 p.m.

Shirley Ann Norman Higginbotham was born in Rockwood TN to Pearl Inez Early Norman and William Norman. She enjoyed sewing, baking, decorating cakes, gardening, and cooking for the family. Mrs. Higginbotham attended United Pentecostal Church and 3 Oaks Church in Gallatin TN, and was a Sunday school teacher for many years. She retired from Famous Footwear after more than ten years.

Shirley is survived by her children: Thomas Joe "Tommy" (Pam) Higginbotham, Sandy (Patrick Elam) Blackwell, Mike (Sonia Clemons) Higginbotham, John David (Teri) Higginbotham, Tim (Tonya) Higginbotham, and Lucinda (Dennis) Oakes; daughter-in-law: Cindy Higginbotham; grandchildren: Candis, Megan, Colby, Spenser, Zach, Mallory, Ciera, Hope, Taylor Parker, Harley, Minta, Jojo, Nathan, Natalie, and Alyssa; great-grandchildren; Aden, Eli, Lathon, Paige, Hudson, Cullen, Chett, Hunter, KT, Reagan, and Addie; sister Edna Fulgham, brother John Boykin, several nieces and nephews, and special pets Paris and Jada. She is preceded in death by husband Joe Lamar Higginbotham, son Stephen Higginbotham, parents Pearl Boykin and William Norman, brother William Norman Jr., sister Becky Pannell, and fur baby Daisy.
