Lori Ballard Gravens

Lori Ballard Gravens passed away suddenly on March 14, 2026 at age 46. The Funeral Service is 2 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2026 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. Interment in Hunter Memorial Park, Watertown TN, will follow the service. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 11 a.m. until the service at 2 p.m.

Lori Ballard Gravens was born in Durham NC to Valeria Ann McCaleb Ballard and Ronald Eugene Ballard. Her father's service in the Army meant the family moved often but they settled in Lebanon TN so Lori was able to graduate from Lebanon High School in 1997. She attended MTSU, graduated from Cumberland University with a Bachelor's degree and later attended TSU where she received her Master's. Lori loved her career as a Nurse Practitioner.

She was a sweet and caring person and loved her family and friends fiercely. She is survived by parents Ron and Valeria Ballard of Lebanon TN. She had two daughters, Haleigh (Chandler) Crite of Castalian Springs, and Olivia (Carsey West) Gravens of Hartsville TN, sister Christy Ballard (Trent) Russell, grandchildren Everleigh Crite, Kaison Crite, Brooks and Brynlee West, aunt Sandra Hamilton of Johnson City, uncle Edgar (Linda) McCaleb of Crossville TN, and uncle Jack McCaleb of Lebanon TN. Also surviving are aunts, Teri Martin of Georgia and Eva Cangemi of Florida. She is preceded in death by grandparents Odell and Roberta McCaleb, Carrol Ballard, Lorraine Blankenship, and special uncle Johnny Hamilton.
