Shirley Ann Hight age 84 of Bentonville passed away peacefully on January 25, 2024. Shirley was born on August 20, 1939, to her parents Kenneth and Cleo Bright in Cave Springs. Shirley graduated from Bentonville High School in 1956 and was a member of the marching band. She married her sweetheart Bill Hight, and they were married for 58 years.
She worked as a bookkeeper at Daisy Manufacturing, S&E Wholesale Grocery, Phillips Grocery and Concordia Nursing Home.
She was a gifted pianist, and she played the piano for the Apostolic Faith Church for many years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband.
She is survived by her children who will miss her dearly, Ret. Lt. Col. Bryan Hight and wife Cheryl, Shana Hight, Jana Ward and husband Ronnie. Also, four beautiful grandchildren Ryan and Cori Ward and Will and Madi Hight, and her brother David Bright and wife Ann.
Visitation Saturday, February 3, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with funeral services at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th Street, Rogers. Interment in the Cave Springs Cemetery. Online condolences to www.bentoncountyfuneralhome.com
