Shirley Hill Obituary
She was born on November 15, 1942, in Johnson County to the late Jesse and Gracie Fairchild. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Willis Hill, on January 31, 2018; eight brothers: Ivan, Hobert, Buford, Jesse, Johnny, Gilbert, Ernie, and Demis Fairchild; one sister, Shelby Blanton; and one deceased great-granddaughter.
Survivors include four sons: Willis (Robin) Hill Jr. of Leander, KY, Paul (Stephanie) Hill of Staffordsville, KY, Robert (Angie) Hill of Lowmansville, KY, Shawn (Bobbi) Hill of Flat Gap, KY; two daughters: Janet Daniels of Staffordsville, KY, Paula (Paul) Rogers of Staffordsville, KY; two brothers: Willie Fairchild of Barnetts Creek, KY, Ervin Fairchild of Barnetts Creek, KY; one sister: Dollie (Ray) Fairchild Pennington of Staffordsville, KY; fourteen grandchildren: Misty (Kurt) Hollobaugh, Brandon (Shayla) Hill, Jessica (Jerry) Ross, Cassie (Keith) Rowland, Kayla (Kevin) White, Landon (Chyenne) Daniels, Dakota (Natosha) Hill, Lukas Hill, Megan Cantrell, Blake (Ocie) Cantrell, Abbigail (Kevin) Mollette, Ethan Hill, McKenley Hill, Grayson Waddle; along with twenty-four great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 1 P.M. Wednesday, January 7, 2026, in the chapel of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home with Randy Haney and Phillip Spradlin officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson County Memorial Cemetery at Staffordsville. Friends may visit at the Jones-Preston Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. and on Wednesday from 10 A.M. until the time of the funeral services at 1 P.M.
Jones-Preston Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to be entrusted with all final arrangements for Mrs. Shirley Fairchild Hill.
