Shirley Faye Jewkes, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, passed away on September 30, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on April 16, 1943, in Battist, Oklahoma, Shirley led a life dedicated to beauty and care as a skilled beautician, leaving an indelible mark on all those who knew her.
Shirley is survived by her son, Deano Parker; her daughter, Velma Parker; her brother, Clyde Smalling; her sister, Helen Yarbrough; as well as her four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Her legacy of love, kindness, and dedication will continue to inspire her family and friends.
A graveside service will be held in her honor at the Hawkins City Cemetery on October 5, 2025, at 1:00 PM. The family invites all who knew and loved Shirley to join them in celebrating her life and the joy she brought to those around her.
