SHIRLEY MCCRACKEN

SHIRLEY MCCRACKEN STERLING - Shirley Alberta Holowatz McCracken, 86, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at McLaren Bay Region. Shirley was born in Detroit, MI. to the late Adam A. Holowatz and Monica (Moll) Holowatz. Shirley was a single mother that worked for the Secretary of State for majority of her career, and she also worked for WXOX Radio Station. She loved being out on the farm with her cousins, and beloved aunts, and uncles; Gus (Joan) Moll, Wally (Jenny) Moll, Eddie (Marcy) Moll. Shirley loved her dogs and horses; she also enjoyed playing bass guitar at the Old Worth Bar in the late 60's and early 70's. Shirley had two daughters, Jody Rae McMullen, Kim D. Henderson, 3 grandkids; Bill (April) Pierson, Amy Pierson Sara McMullen Hebert, 6 great grandkids; Briana (Tyler) Kinney, Taylor (Dillon) Pierson, Emily Pierson, Paige Pierson, Greyson Keyser, and Claire Keyser. Shirley is survived by one daughter, Kim D. Henderson, 3 grandchildren: Bill (April) Pierson, Amy Pierson, and Sara (Craig) Hebert. She is preceded in death by her daughter Jody Rae McMullen. Celebration of Life will be determined at a later time. The family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to Shirley's cousins, Janice Finn, Cathy Perkins, and Jodie Cook.
