Funeral services for Shirley A. McNeilly, 85, of Chandler, Texas, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Chandler Memorial Funeral Home with Chaplain Chase Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Whitehouse Cemetery in Whitehouse, Texas, under the direction of Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.
Mrs. McNeilly passed away on September 8, 2025, in Chandler.
Shirley Ann (Wilkinson) McNeilly was born on September 20, 1939, in Concord, North Carolina, to Robert James Wilkinson and Eva Mae (Singleton) Elliott. She graduated with her GED and held various management positions, including convenience store manager, Gold Bond manager, and property manager in Smyrna, Delaware, and Tyler, Texas. Shirley enjoyed reading, poetry, participating in church activities, and listening to Southern gospel and Christian music. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Randy Lee Jones; a daughter, Teresa Ann Hicks; two brothers, Bobby Wilkinson and Larry Gene Wilkinson; a sister, Zeola K. King; and a son-in-law Gregory Rardeen.
Survivors include her husband, Fred W. McNeilly Jr.; her children, Sheila M. Wacasey and husband John Alan, Glenda S. Rardeen, and Cynthia Witkowski and husband John; her siblings, Jimmy Love and Debra Renee Shadrick; and her grandchildren, Steven R. Toews, Laura M. Ingram and husband Cole, Allyssa Witkowski, Thomas Witkowski, Lillian Witkowski, and Joseph Witkowski.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home family.
