It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Shirley Ann Myles, 68, who passed away on August 20, 2025, in Dallas, Texas.

Shirley Ann Myles was born on October 3, 1956, to the union of Sgt. Earma Myles and Dorothy Lang Myles in Pineville, LA. She was a beloved daughter, sister and friend and she touched the lives of many with her warmth, kindness, and generous spirit.

Shirley graduated from W. H. Adamson High School in Dallas. She pursued a career in Basic Nursing Skills Training Programs at Parkland Memorial Hospital and later decided to join the United States Army to further her career in the military. She proudly served in the Army and successfully completed basic combat training in Fort Jackson, South Carolina. Her military career took her to various parts of the world, including tours in Kleber Kaserne, Germany. She earned numerous commendations for her bravery and leadership. Her commitment to her country was unwavering, and she was a source of inspiration to all who knew her. After many years in the army, Shirley received an honorable discharge from her military service.
