Shirley Ann Owens of Waco passed away in her home surrounded by her family on May 1st, 2025. Visitation will be Tuesday May 6th from 6-8pm at Pecan Grove Funeral Home 3124 Robinson Dr, Waco, TX, 76706. Graveside Services will be 12:00pm, Wednesday, May 7, at Waco Memorial Park Cemetery 6623 Interstate 35 Sout, Robinson.
Shirley was born on March 2nd, 1941, in Waco, Texas to Charlie and Margaret Morris. Shirley and Vernon were married on October 4th, 1958. They resided in the Waco area for over 60 years. She worked at Spenco Medical Corp for over 20 years. Shirley was the lifeblood of family gatherings and deeply devoted to her family. She was an extraordinary woman whose grace, kindness and love for God was given to those around her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Margaret, siblings Judy, Wanda and Johnny, and her husband Vernon Lynn Owens.
She is survived by her sons David Owens, Rickey Owens and Randy & Linda Owens, grandchildren Raevyn & Collin Ferguson, Kyle and Brooke Owens, Marisa Rodgers, Hailey Owens and Camron & Jamie Owens, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, beloved friend, Vickie Bederka, and many family friends.
