My deepest sympathies to Shirley's family. I have many fond memories of Shirley as a friend and neighbor growing up in Childress.

Shirley always had a smile. I will

remember Shirley smiling and always

happy to see me. She was a very loving Mom to my best friend growing up, Delana.

Shirley and I had been friends for 35 years. Our kids grew up together and were good friends too. We all felt like one big family. We shared alot of laughs and even some tears over the years.Shirley will be greatly missed by us all.

So sorry to hear about Shirley, via Don Cawthon. I remember Shirley from high school as being a really fun person.

and me. She will be dearly missed.

Shirley was my dearest friend and we had been emailing about our 50th Class Reunion. My deepest sympathy to her children and family. We shared so many memories of our school days. I will miss her very much. My prayers are with all of you and wish you comfort in knowing that she is not suffering now.

"Reconnecting" with Shirley, via e mail, has meant a lot to me. She was obviously the same wonderful person. My thoughts and prayers are with all of her family.

The news of Aunt Shirley's death brought a great sense of loss and flooded my mind with beautiful memories. I adored her and have wonderful memories of visiting during the summer. She bought me a record by Chubby Checker and I learned to do the twist that summer. What a wonderful wonderful person she was.
