I am Shirley's middle daughter. I want to thank you all for the nice comments for my mother and us children. We are still hurting. If you have a story you would like to share about my mother please do. You can post it for everyone to read or just email it straight to me. I will be making a book for my sisters ...

The news of Aunt Shirley's death brought a great sense of loss and flooded my mind with beautiful memories. I adored her and have wonderful memories of visiting during the summer. She bought me a record by Chubby Checker and I learned to do the twist that summer. What a wonderful wonderful person she was.
