Peggy June Gresham

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Peggy June Gresham, a woman of immense strength and compassion, who departed this life on August 15, 2025. Born on June 30, 1940, June grew up in Lafors, TX and left behind a legacy of generosity and kindness that will remain in the hearts of many.

June married the love of her life, Norman Dale Gresham, on September 10, 1966 and was a pillar of strength for her family. They made their forever home in Euless, TX and she was the beloved mother to three sons, William Craig Gresham (wife Kelley), Daryl James Gresham, and Brent Wayne Gresham (wife Melinda), and dedicated sister to Jan Morris-Dragoo, who will continue to honor her spirit.

June was predeceased by her cherished spouse, Dale Gresham, her father, R. C. "Bill Jack" Henderson, her mother, Sylvia O. Sparkman, and her sisters, Rosa Joy Bennett and Betty Jo Morse. Her love and memories will continue to live on through her sons and the family she adored including her six grandchildren: Kaleb Miller, Emma Juarez (husband Aidan), Dalton Gresham, Zoe Gresham, Trey Petty and Wyatt Petty.

June was active in the Church, loved singing gospel music and led the choir for over 20 years. She worked as a secretary for LTV and Liberty Mutual Insurance and was known for her unyielding loyalty, a trait that bonded her deeply with everyone who had the privilege to know her. Her kindness was a beacon, lighting the way for those around her to follow. Her passing leaves an irreplaceable void but her memory will forever be engraved in our hearts. We remember June not with sadness, but with gratitude for having been a part of her life and her part of ours.

Celebrate her life with us at Colonial Funeral Home in Irving, this Saturday August 23rd. Visitation 1pm-2:30pm then graveside at Irving Oak Grove Memorial Gardens at 3:00pm.
