Dortrue "Dot" McEachern Reese, (of Fletcher, NC) born on February 18, 1940, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2025, at the age of 85. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family and her faith. For three decades, Dot was a cherished member of Flat Creek Baptist Church, where she dedicated her time to teaching Children's Sunday School, where the children knew her as Dot Dot. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Glen Reese, and her parents, Daniel and Doris McEachern; her sisters, Nadine Cowart and Shiela McEachern. Her legacy continues through her surviving family: her daughter, Glenda Mosley (Steven); her sisters, Ardith Vied (Steve), and Deborah Ivie (Mike); her brother, Danny McEachern; her great goddaughter, Jewelleann Albertson (Kaydence); as well as numerous nieces and nephews who fondly remember her warmth and kindness. A service to honor her life will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at 2 o'clock in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home, with Dr. Josh Saefkow officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at Parrott Funeral Home in Fairburn, GA. Interment will follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens in Peachtree City, GA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Flat Creek Baptist Church in Dot Dot's memory to the children's department. Dot's gentle spirit and steadfast faith will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
