Dear Eric and Family > I worked at Laneco with Shirley for at least 21 years . We always had such a good time , she was like family. Also remember your Dad Dale from coming in and picking her up and shopping at Weis market too. I work there currently. So glad I got to see her at the Allentown Credit Union last spring ! I happened to be there when she was and we had a nice chat. I was sorry she had to live alone since your brother and dad passed on. However I was quite proud of her for being brave enough to stay there by herself. She not only had a big heart by perseverance too. To my friend and co worker Shirley > always in our prayers and forever in our hearts Ellen and your co - workers from the old Laneco on Lehigh Street > Rest in Peace and God speed Ahead !!

I used to work with Shirley at Laneco back in the Nineties. I remember how she and Dale would give me rides home when I didn't have a car. At work, Shirley was always supportive, caring, and a hard worker. I am glad to hear she was a believer in Jesus, and may He comfort the family in this difficult time.

Shirley´s husband, Dale, was my cousin. She faced difficult times in her life, including the deaths of two children, with the strength of her faith.
Shirley loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and made many friends during the 29 years she worked at Laneco. My condolences to Eric and his family and her brother Joseph.
