Mrs. Shirley H. Renninger, 86, a long-time resident of South Williamsport, PA., died Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Valley View
Valley View Rehabilitation and Nursing Center - SNF
and Nursing Center - SNF in Montoursville, PA.
Shirley was born on July 13, 1938, in Lock Haven, PA. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Harry E. Harbach and Catherine Englert Harbach of Carroll, PA.
Shirley graduated from Sugar Valley High School in Loganton, PA, and later worked as a secretary for The Grit Publishing Company.
Shirley was a Covenant Central Presbyterian Church member in Williamsport, PA.
For many years, Shirley enjoyed making ceramics, painting, and sewing, and in later years, she liked word search books.
She always enjoyed her family, brothers, and sisters.
She was very organized.
Shirley is survived by her sister Dorothy (Steven) Laubach of Loganton, PA, and nineteen nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. William R. Renninger, who passed away on January 3, 2019.
Shirley is also preceded in death by her siblings;
her sister Dolly Leighey of Karthaus, PA.: her sister Betty Ruhl of Loganton, PA; her brother Robert Harbach of Loganton, PA.; her brother Harry Harbach, Jr. of Woodbridge, VA.; and her brother David Harbach of Antes Fort, PA.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a Graveside Service on Monday, October
21, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM at Montoursville Cemetery, 1401 Broad Street, Montoursville, PA 17754.
Pastor Paul Smith from Covenant Central Church will officiate.
