Shirley Lee Rine, age 89, of Mount Vernon passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on October 10, 1936, in Mount Gilead to the late Floyd and Mary Kay (McGraw) Williams. Shirley was a member of the Christ the King Community Church in Fredericktown.

She is survived by her son Doug Rine; her grandchildren, Sherry Lynn (Christian) Hanasish, Cassie Lee (Justin) Steiner, Corey Eugene (Lani) Rine; her great-granddaughter Willow Jean Steiner; and her brother Fred E. Williams.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Alpha Ray Rine; her son Robert E. Rine; her brothers Larry D. Williams, Carl E. Williams, Ronald D. Williams; and her sister Linda L. Berger.

Friends may call on Thursday, from 12-1pm at the Snyder Funeral Home – Flowers Chapel. A service will follow, beginning at 1pm, with Pastor Lucian Baker officiating. Burial will take place in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Christ the King Community Church, 15598 McClelland Rd. Fredericktown, Ohio 43019.
